Historia
Forget George and the dragon. Forget Sir Lancelot and tales of knightly exploits. This is dirty, bloody work. This is violent, visceral action. This is a mercenary knight as you've never seen one before. Twenty-eight florins a month is a huge price to pay for a man to stand between you and the Wild. Twenty-eight florins a month is nowhere near enough when a wyvern's jaws snap shut on your helmet in the hot stink of battle, and the beast starts to rip the head from your shoulders.

Love Knights? Listen to this!
Revisado: 09-15-19
Great story of Knights and chivalry. Well written and well preformed. The author did great research to make this seem real.

Historia
The Seven Cities Rebellion has been crushed. Sha’ik is dead. One last rebel force remains, holed up in the city of Y’Ghatan and under the fanatical command of Leoman of the Flails. The prospect of laying siege to this ancient fortress makes the battle-weary Malazan Fourteenth Army uneasy. For it was here that the Empire’s greatest champion, Dassem Ultor, was slain and a tide of Malazan blood spilled. A place of foreboding, its smell is of death. But elsewhere, agents of a far greater conflict have made their opening moves.

Great story
Revisado: 02-13-19
Great book. Only struggled to match different characters to their voices as the reader was not consistent by using the same voice for a single character throughout the book

Why change the reader?
Revisado: 11-05-18
It was really irritating that the reader was changed. Not only doesn't the new reader have the skill and range of voices that the one reading the first three books had, but he also changed the pronunciation of many of the names and words. Thus one did not recognise that the characters that are spoken of are the same ones as those from the previous books. It made it hard to keep track and without the written text the lissener has no guidance.

What a wonderful adventure
Revisado: 09-11-18
The tale is expertly spinned. High adventure at its finest. The reading added to the excitement with excellent voice acting.
