Wow! This story was absolutely captivating! I couldn't stop listening, and yet, I was dreading the end. Books like this are so rare. If you grew up in the 90s or earlier and remember being outside with your friends from sun up until the street lights came on, seeking adventures, mischief, or riding your bikes endlessly, you'll love this book! Throwing in the riveting horror aspect was perfection! Very well done! The narrator, the story, the characters, the pace of it all was absolutely amazing! I wish it lasted longer!

I loved it! It's such a fun story and kept my attention easily throughout. The characters, the narrators, the story, the music... all of it, was captivating! I've already bought the next one and can't wait to get started!

I absolutely loved this story! The King of Horror can write fantasy as well! I connected well with the characters and felt sad during the losses. I could also see connections to other King creations, such as Pennywise! I hope he'll write more like this one!

My First Completed Stephen King Novel

Legendary!

The story itself is honestly lacking in my opinion. The cliche battle of good vs evil. At times, this felt rushed. Certain aspects made no sense. I'm not sure why King took on a religious plot and his views are confusing.
However, I still enjoyed it and rated it highly. He is a legend for a reason. Plus I know this book was written long ago.
The narrator though was phenomenal! At first I didn't like his voice but then I saw how talented he was. I plan to search for more of his work.

I can't say enough how much I loved this series! I honestly wish it were longer, even twice as long! I think the author was likely growing weary of the story, as there were a few time jumps and while I totally understand, I really wish it were more in depth and longer.
Overall, I'm now a big fan of Brown. I'll definitely be getting the Dead Snapshots series. I highly recommend this one though!

Gripping... Just not at first.

At first, I honestly struggled. Soft spoken women with an English accent were not that captivating to me. I almost exchanged the book but I decided to stick it out. I'm so glad I did!
Don't give up on this book! The twists are amazing! I actually felt like I was the alcoholic making bad decisions. I yelled a few times, "Rachel! Knock it off! Don't drink that! You do dumb things!" lol
I won't give away any details but in my opinion, this book is now among my favorites. Well done!
