Decent stories, bad narration

The stories themselves were actually decent. However the narrator was horrible. The bad pronunciations, overly long pauses in the wrong places. It’s almost as if the book was never edited. The music at the beginning of each chapter was annoying. I don’t mind music at the beginning and end of a book but at each chapter was a bit much. I like the stories enough to look for more by this author but noticed that the same narrator is used for many... I’m gonna have to do a hard pass.
