Seriously this is just talking points. Long on intelligent sounding words but short on useful information. You lost me when you wrote about keeping in contact with emergency services in a book about how to stay in contact with emergency services during an emergency.

Just OK, but also get the full books

Listening to this set of radio plays made me remember reading the books for the first time. Some of them 25 years ago! These radio adaptations do not stand on their own-you must know what is going on before you can know what is going on. These are well worth a listen but spend your credits and get the full books as well.

Found audio doc; worth every penny!

Ok, this is not for everyone. If you like to be spoon fed a story while doing other things; just move on. Lots of other books out there.
Now this audio play is a train wreck and I could not stop listening! Poor audio which sounded like it was recorded in an unused bathroom. Character dialogue always had a short delay echo, always. The found footage sounded like it was really being played on a reel-to-reel tape machine, clipping and hiss and all.
Speaking of the audio headphones being required. Yes, listen with headphones. The crappier the better. The bass is way too high on the background sound and way too low on the dialogue. Don’t play in the car as you won’t hear a thing except the background sound effects. Talking about the background, as I was listening I began to imagine the titles of the background tracks as “sound of inside a building” or “Jeep engine at idle” “campfire crackling” and so on. Would I recommend this play? Yes! It is amazing what was done here. They took a poor story with lousy dialogue and a cast with all similar sounding voices into someone’s bathroom, turned the bass to 11, and gave this out for free. Worth every penny I paid!
