Wow! What a twisted tale!! I was Constantly kept on my toes by this story! It was exciting and thrilling at the same time. I loved the narration! Carissa wanted to escape her mother so badly,that she went away to college. There,she meets a man that scares her as well as intrigues her. He has a dark side as well as a light side! I could not understand how Carissa could just go off with someone she didn't even know! I guess love is blind! She doesn't realize that she is a pawn,more or less a prisoner. Naz is every bit the mystery,and a master manipulator! His mood swings,well,make my head spin!! This is definitely a must read! Cinderella meets her Mobster!

This is one eye popping,jaw dropping book!! I loved the narrators!! I could picture King,Doe and Preppy like they were standing in my living room!! HOT!! That's how I would describe this book! You take 1 Girl who doesn't know who she is,1 Man who is a mystery,and you end up with this FANTASTIC BOOK!! I just couldn't stop listening!! I had to find out if King kept Doe!! He kept saying "You're Mine" but,was she really? Surprised! That's what I was at the end!!
The narration was Amazing!! Full of feeling!! I definitely recommend this book!!

This is the first audible book I've listened to! I've heard conflicting opinions on them,the narrators,and the audio versions in general. I loved the narrator of this book,she kept me interested! Took on the accents of the characters.She Rocked It!!
The story was great! It was suspenseful,and thrilling! I was left gasping,who will Mare choose! Mavin or Cal?
I hope that there is a second book,I would love to see what happens next!
The author did a wonderful job writing this book! She told us a story of a young girl with no real future,then turned her into a responsible Adult! An Adult who was wise beyond her years! I can't wait to read book #2!!
