Meryl Streep could read the dictionary and make it sound interesting! But this novel wasn’t a dictionary and had me hooked from the beginning. I have no doubts that this story will make you reflect back on your life and share it with others.

A beautifully poignant story of love and grief. Narration was a stellar success. I want to tell all my friends and family about this humanistic novel of life.

I was enthralled with this book and how it would end. None of my guesses were correct until Ms Moyes wanted me to know the ending. The words and story line were beautiful!

If you could sum up A Knight in Shining Armor in three words, what would they be?

Romance needs a woman's touch/voice!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nicholas Stafford was my favorite in the Audible version only because it felt more natural for a man to be talking his part as opposed to a man reading a romance book from a female's perspective.

How could the performance have been better?

A woman reading the book would have made it more natural plus she would have had the insight of knowing that Douglas Montgomery was just coming into her own as opposed to making her sound whiny!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The end because I just couldn't take the performance.

Any additional comments?

I remember reading the book when it first came out. I fell instantly in love with Jude Deveraux and her strong women with quirky, strong personalities. I couldn't wait to listen to it on Audible. Much to my dismay, this is the first time I was disappointed by a performance. A man was reading a romance novel which is mostly based on a female's perspective. I couldn't wrap my head around Douglas Montgomery's character and it somehow diminished her strengths. She was made out to be more of a whiner than a woman that was beginning to realize she didn't have to put up with anyone else's baggage.
