Great narrator and story

It was pretty intense from start to finish. A good way to escape and have an interesting distraction.

Historia
Fetish Girl is a kinky roller coaster ride through addiction, violence, motherhood, sex, and the creation of Evil Kitty, Bella LaVey’s larger-than-life dominatrix persona. It is a singular memoir that shows that a heavily tatted BDSM sex worker can be courageous enough to come to terms with her painful truths and raise a healthy, loving child, even as she remains boldly sexual and authentic. It’s the story of a woman attracted to extremes who is willing to go to great lengths to uncover and make peace with her true nature.

Such an entertaining story! The narrator was absolutely stellar as well. Highly recommended listening. I may even revisit this someday.

Historia
When Mark Lanegan first arrived in Seattle in the mid-1980s, he was just "an arrogant, self-loathing redneck waster seeking transformation through rock 'n' roll." Little did he know that within less than a decade, he would rise to fame as the frontman of the Screaming Trees, and then fall from grace as a low-level crack dealer and a homeless heroin addict, all the while watching some of his closest friends rocket to the forefront of popular music.

Classic and Moving Tale of Redemption From The Gallows
Revisado: 09-08-21
No matter who you are or what era you come from, listening to Mark’s story will do you some good to understand more about the kinds of people you see everyday on the street, but perhaps turn away from. It’s a fascinating story and brought me the sense of what it must be like to live life outside the confines of traditional expectations. It also reminded me of William S. Burroughs’ phenomenal book about his addiction, Junkie. I might listen to this again in the not too distant future. Highly recommended.
