Historia
The Memory Engine – a device which allows you to explore past locations and events through the amalgamated memories of people who were actually present at the time. Revisit your past within computer-generated, photo-realistic reconstructions, all from within an advanced virtual reality headset. That’s all well and good, but when Evan Turner is asked to test the Memory Engine before its official release, his life begins to fall apart. He could probably deal with that…if it wasn’t for his own ineptitude and social awkwardness that is.

A Virtual Reality & future tech masterpiece!
Revisado: 12-17-20
This was an amazing book! From start to finish I loved it. I grew attached to the characters and felt like I was right by their sides the entire story! The story had a few twists that I did not see coming! There's quite a few issues happening in our world today that are reflected in this book which made it feel familiar and immersive. The tech concepts explored for full body tracking and haptics are absolute genius & would love to see them someday become reality! If you are a fan of the Ready Player One type genre, do not pass this one by! A VR masterpiece!

Historia
Terence McKenna hypothesizes that as the North African jungles receded, giving way to savannas and grasslands near the end of the most recent ice age, a branch of our arboreal primate ancestors left the forest canopy and began living in the open areas beyond. There they experimented with new varieties of foods as they adapted, physically and mentally, to the environment. Among the new foods found in this environment were psilocybin-containing mushrooms.
