As always, Jodi is telling stories that hit hard. Jodi does not shy away from difficult, ethical dilemmas that compels readers to dig deep. This one was challenging for me to get through.

Forever and a day long

I liked the characters and the over-all story.What I did not like is how long winded and long the story went on and on. Also, chapters were inserted like commas, every 1-3 minutes was a new chapter, that was a big of overkill.
I was also a bit confused by the end of it with some of the twists and turns.

I love Gretchen and her style. This book was interesting to me since losing some hearing in my left ear last year. All of the little things that I have noticed changed since losing my hearing was validated with this book. I cannot say that this book would be interesting for everyone but if you like Gretchen and you have any interest in making you like more enriching, give it a go!

Ed brings so much enthusiasm and passion to his lessons, this book is no exception. This was one of the most genuine lesions I have heard. Ed doesn’t fluff the book to 13 hours with insignificant, ego driven examples of his success. This is also part tribute to Ed’s father, it is beautiful. I learned practical application of “One More”. Thank you, Ed!

Whining and anticlimactic

Stephanie had a challenging time easing a child as a single mother. Her story is not unique and spent 7 hours explaining how hard things are in life and how there is a stigma with people who receive government assistance. I was pretty bored with the book. How this was made into a Netflix series is beyond me.
