This is a GREAT story.

What a Revelation! We find out who the girl is (from book 3) that the villain had hidden away for so many years and left all his money too, and why he had her hidden away. Those of you who have read this series, know what I am talking about, and those of you who want to know will have 2 read it 2 find out. It is worth buying this book to find out. This love/mystery story is well written and is a great addition and a must read in this series. If you have not read it you are missing out on a good one. The hero is a spy of the first order and has almost been killed several time. He has put off marrying the women he really wants for several years because he dose not want anyone close to him to get hurt or killed, but he has run out of time. Girl friend has decided she is not going to wait any longer and has put her self on the market to get a husband. The man that wants her has it going on and has more to offer as the hero.

This is a great story. I really like the in's and out's of the characters in each other's story because you get to find out how their stories start and continue from book to book. I have enjoyed each and every book in this series. Viola is a rare beauty and petite in size, while James is such a giant of a man it makes you wonder how are they going to fit. It is the lovely Viola who turns out to be time enough for the big man James, in spite if their mix match sizes. It was a lot of fun finding out how they made it work, and turned out to be perfect for each other.

WOW, WOW, WOW . . . . . . . . WHO KNEW! ! !

Who knew the sly, slick, and wicked devil the Marquess of Ruthford, would turn out to have one of the best stories in this series. I fell in love with these characters and their story. Chatham lives up to his reputation as a lover- bar none. After finding out the story behind the man, I was in his corner all the way. Even tho he had a rough time, Charlotte made sure he would win all the battles he was forced to fight. His battle with himself being the roughest of them all. Charlotte had it going on. Girl, she is smart as a whip and used her knowledge and intelligence to help Chatham, and herself, win all the battles they where faced with. Ms. Braden has reached new heights describing the many sex scenes in this story. They are well placed and needed to tell Chatham and Charlotte's story. Chatham being the sexy man he is, as well as the sexual attraction between these characters. I will be listening to their story again, and again.

The narrator needs a lot of work. Just put your device on a faster speed (since Mary Sara seems to be the narrator of choice) so you can really enjoy this series.

Half Good/Half Bad

This story was good, although not as good as the first 2 Books. Because it was a continuation of the series I brought it. It was not until the half-way point did it really get good. Colin and Sarah are good charters, it is interesting how they met, come to care for one another very deeply, and wanting to protect each other. There is still a mystery tied to the story maybe - will we find out who is the girl that the villain had locked away, but left her all his money - I'm hoping it will come out in one of the other books. Let's hope so. As usual, this Author can write some sensual and detail sex scenes. Even tho it took some time to get to them, it was worth the wait. The sex scenes are different from book to book, in a very good way, that is why I really enjoy this Author. All in all I - enjoyed this book.

. . . . . the Romance, Passion and Drama continues

The second book in this series does not disappoint. It appears the narrator has gotten her flow together, and did a good job with the reading of this story. I could not put this one down. Book 1 draws you into the story, the passion, and the steamy hot sex scenes this Author can write. I was so glad Book 2 was waiting to be read. The unlikely pairing of Harrison and Jane will surprise you, and I was glad they did. If you enjoyed Book 1, then Book 2 will take things to another level. While Harrison (the DUKE) takes his responsibilities to Family and Title seriously, Jane (PLAIN) shows what Friendship and Love is all about. There appears to be enough interesting characters in these books to fill the other books in this series, and I can not wait to start Book 3 and to see where they go from here.

What a GREAT find.

I was just roaming around looking for someone new to read, and this title stood out. I always read the reviews, and was turned off about what was said about the narrator. She is really bad, but I increased the speed. That made the listening so much better. This is a great story with some good twists and turns to make it different. I am on to the second book, but I will listen to this one again. Sex scenes are very sensual and moving (if you know what I mean). Glad I took a chance on this one.

What a good short should be.

This is a great short story. After the long narrative in the beginning, it got right into the story. I read some reviews and was not going to buy it, but the good reviews out weigh the bad, and I was glad I jumped in. I listen to a lot of 10 -20 hour books and was just looking for something short and good. Well, I got it. I had not purchased this author books before this one, and I may purchase another longer one. I would recommend this one to new listeners to audible.

OK Story Different

The narrator was the worst I have ever listen to. Having a fast speed on my player was the only reason I was able to finish this book. The story was good for me, but L. Rayner needs to listen to herself and see if she can get through this book. Come on Lucy, you got to do better or give up the job, it is not for you.
