Two great stories meld into one!
Revisado: 09-28-24
I truly enjoyed this book, especially Longmire being “too big“ to surf! However, it seemed that the story that occurs in 1964 really mirrors the movie Bad Day at Black Rock. I’m surprised that Craig could use this storyline.

I don’t know why I’ve finished it
Revisado: 09-07-24
Unfortunately, I am readers that once I’ve invested several hours into listening to it I continue to the end. It was just too convoluted and the ending was horrible. If there is a book two I will definitely not read it.

When I begin listening to this book, I was not aware that it would need another book to conclude the storyline. I held off listening to the last hour until Angel of Vengeance was completed. I am hoping that Angel of Vengeance will bring this story to an end.

Historia
Taking his trademark intellectual approach to understanding Christianity, Timothy Keller uncovers the essential message of Jesus, locked inside his most familiar parable. Within that parable Jesus reveals God's prodigal grace toward both the irreligious and the moralistic. This book will challenge both the devout and skeptics to see Christianity in a whole new way.

How to have a relationship with God
Revisado: 08-09-24
We often think of the parable of the prodigal son when we think of the word prodigal. Actually, prodigal means giving lavishly, which is exactly what God does to us daily. I would also recommend the book by Henri Nouwen entitled The Return of the Prodigal Son.

Historia
Joe DeMarco likes to call himself a troubleshooter. It sounds better than “bagman” or “fixer.” With more than a decade of troubleshooting under his belt on behalf of John Mahoney, the Speaker of the House, DeMarco has seen his fair share of dangerous situations. When Andie Moore, a twenty-three-year-old working in the DOJ’s Inspector General’s Office, is murdered in cold blood in Florida’s Everglades, it falls on DeMarco to get to the bottom of things.

Revisado: 02-17-23
I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. The narrator, Joe Barrett, made the book even more enjoyable. I liked the storyline and appreciated a medal of honor winner being the center of the book. I’ve read every Joe DiMarco based book, and this one is by far the best for me.

The reader makes it interesting, but the story was way to difficult to understand until mid way into the book. If I were reading it I wouldn’t have completed it. Told my wife not to read.
