What a journey this takes you on. I’m from Manchester England so to discover this tale set so close to home is amazing. I have plenty of friends from Liverpool which this reminds me of. That good old English wit and the perfect use of swear words takes me back home. : )
No pretentious accents only genuine ones.
I’m looking for my next title as I type.

Absolutely brilliant ! Holds your attention until the very end. Great insight of our past and present. Very daunting to think of Life on Mars but very exciting at the same time.
Every character was amazing and convincing, I thought I was hearing the voices of past.

This is my first experience listening to an Audio book and it was incredible!
The sound that was generated throughout the book was amazing, it rivaled the Dolby Theatre. The characters brought the whole experience to real life. I remember as a kid War Of The Worlds on vynil and it was ground breaking back then. I can say that Jeff Wayne did justice to Mr H.G. Wells.
