Powerful Women Enduring and Making a Difference!

Enjoyed this book very much. Only reason for the 4 star performance rating is due to it being the UK version and at times I struggled with the accents.

Never Enough
Revisado: 09-10-20
Nothing really new, revealing or earth shattering about the story. Every book I've listen to read by the author has not been as enjoyable as a book read by professional performances. I don't understand why you go through so much of pouring your heart and your soul into a book, whether it's fictional truths science fiction, whatever it is, and don't do your due diligence to really make it outstanding with professional audio.

Historia
Wally Roux is a teenage genius with a big imagination and a big heart, who just moved to Savannah, GA, from Maine with his mom, who adopted him when he was an infant. In this charming and sweet solo performance, Wally investigates what is causing a number of strange events and occurrences. He explores and gets lost within space-time - an infinite, indefinable, and mysterious void that you can’t see but when you slice into it you can feel it.

Entertaining story without being overplayed
Revisado: 09-07-19
Entertaining story, not overplayed background or distracting effects. Found myself entranced by Wally's adventures and perspective to correct the cosmic glitches.

Historia
Without John C. Houbolt, a mid-level engineer at NASA, Apollo 11 would never have made it to the moon. Top NASA engineers on the project, including Werner Von Braun, strongly advocated for a single, huge spacecraft to travel to the moon, land, and return to Earth. It's the scenario used in 1950s cartoons and horror movies about traveling to outer space. Houbolt had another idea: Lunar Orbit Rendezvous. LOR would link two spacecraft in orbit while the crafts were travelling at 3,600 miles an hour around the moon. His plan was ridiculed and considered unthinkable.

Great History Story About Journey to the Moon
Revisado: 07-16-19
This book is informative, well written and excellently narrated! Even though I was young, the memory of the Lunar Landing on the Moon is etched into me; I know where I was, who was with me, all of it. The author takes you behind the TV airing and on the journey of how we got there and back safely. To date, this is by far the BEST Audible Original!

Historia
One Sunday in the spring of 1988, a woman living on a reservation in North Dakota is attacked. The details of the crime are slow to surface as Geraldine Coutts is traumatized and reluctant to relive or reveal what happened, either to the police or to her husband, Bazil, and 13-year-old son, Joe. In one day, Joe's life is irrevocably transformed. He tries to heal his mother, but she will not leave her bed and slips into an abyss of solitude. Increasingly alone, Joe finds himself thrust prematurely into an adult world for which he is ill prepared.

I Alwaysvi. Read To The End
Revisado: 05-01-19
Struggled to finish this book. At moments it was intriguing and complex, found it mostly childish with scattered thoughts, often jumping from bicycle rides to serious topics with concerns of criminal acts, moral & cultural platforms that could have been more deeply developed but trailed off leaving the reader lost & struggling to grasp where the story was heading. Ends abruptly leaving me wondering why I finished the book.
