NO SPOILERS: i love this trio sm. theyre so funny together and their situation is quite the adventure. i found myself smiling when they laughed and stoic when they were sad. at some point things move a little fast and i thought it could be fleshed out a bit more. but for a quick read, i loved these characters. i cannot wait for the next book!

Wordy but Interesting

No spoilers: Having only the audiobook and no physical book, this book was HARD to follow. There are a lot of characters, with long names and even longer titles, who will be referred to as any combination throughout the book. You are thrust right into this world, which can be confusing if you had no previous knowledge. Sword fighting and olden language, but also space travel and supernatural themes. New words with only context clues as a definition. It was a lot to keep up with. However, I did enjoy Gideon. The story itself is interesting, its just a lot to get through to get there. Not a quick nor a easy read, but it is still a good story. Have patience.
