Historia
In 1876, in a mining camp called Roaring Fork in the Colorado Rockies, 11 miners were killed by a rogue grizzly bear. Corrie Swanson has arranged to examine the miners' remains. When she makes a shocking discovery, town leaders try to stop her from exposing their community's dark and bloody past. Just as Special Agent Pendergast of the FBI arrives to rescue his protege, the town comes under siege by a murderous arsonist who - with brutal precision - begins burning down multimillion-dollar mansions with the families locked inside.

Unnecessary sound effects and music
Revisado: 08-07-21
Love this series’s. Why that added music and sound effects, I cannot imagine—only distracts from the listen. I hope they do not do it in the future.

So sorry there will be no more Jack Irish books
Revisado: 01-05-21
Great story. Wonderful read. Peter Temple was a fantastic writer and Jack is a terrific character. Wish the other three Hack Irish novels were available as audio books.

Cliche ridden story
Revisado: 02-20-20
. . . Derivative plot, terrible narrator. Faux hard-boiled detective. Who speaks in in persuasive cliches. Amateurish effort all the way.

Great story about a moment in time
Revisado: 02-12-20
Narrator is not heart and her mispronunciations reflect a limited vocabulary. That became annoying. But the book is so compelling you want to keep listening.

Historia
Bob Dylan's Chronicles: Volume One explores the critical junctions in his life and career. Through Dylan's eyes and open mind, we see Greenwich Village, circa 1961, when he first arrives in Manhattan. Dylan's New York is a magical city of possibilities: smoky, nightlong parties; literary awakenings; transient loves and unbreakable friendships. Elegiac observations are punctuated by jabs of memories, penetrating and tough.

Abridged??!!! Why????
Revisado: 01-23-18
Did not realize this was abridged, but it soon became clear. It is choppy and makes no sense. Penn may be a great actor, but he it a terrible reader—felt ripped off in every way and a real disservice to Dylan. Can’t believe he allows it.
