Historia
In Why We Suck, Dr. Denis Leary uses his common sense, and his biting and hilarious take on the world, to attack the politically correct, the hypocritical, the obese, the thin - basically everyone who takes themselves too seriously. He does so with the extra oomph of a doctorate bestowed upon him by his alma mater Emerson College. "Sure it's just a celebrity type of thing - they only gave it to me because I'm famous." Leary explains.

Great Book With Great Narration
Revisado: 11-22-12
What did you love best about Why We Suck?
I was surprised by how much I liked Denis Leary as a human being in this book. I had been unsure about how I felt about Leary outside of "Rescue Me", (which I loved), but he comes off as a very genuine and real person. Passionate about family, life, performance, and even the state of the country.
What did you like best about this story?
His attitude.
Have you listened to any of Dr. Denis Leary’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not heard any performances such as this before by him.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes it was, though I was admittedly on a 10 hour drive.
Any additional comments?
Highly Recommended.

Historia
Book store nation, in the history of mankind there has never been a greater country than America. You could say we're the number one nation at being the best at greatness. But as perfect as America is in every single way, America is broken! And we can't exchange it because we're 236 years past the 30-day return window. Look around - we don't make anything anymore, we've mortgaged our future to China, and the Apologist-in-Chief goes on world tours just to bow before foreign leaders.

It's no "I Am America, and So Can You!"
Revisado: 11-22-12
What did you like best about America Again? What did you like least?
I enjoy Stephen Colbert's character go on his ridiculous rants but it felt like a bit less than full-effort. I enjoyed his previous book/audiobook more.
If you’ve listened to books by Stephen Colbert before, how does this one compare?
Of his two, this one would come in second. It is enjoyable enough, but it left me a bit wanting and missing the original.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
It's his own pace, so yes, though I felt like it was as quality as in "I Am America".
Did America Again inspire you to do anything?
No.
