Revisado: 01-26-25
I have been following Margarita on social media for some time now, and when I knew the book was on Audible I was so pleased. This book gives you so many ideas and actually empowers women to take charge of their lovelife through taking charge of their overall lives. It teaches women not to put up with disrespect from men, but most importantly not to put up with it from themselves!!!

Historia
With all of the pluck and charm of its eponymous young hero, Rachel McAdams (The Notebook, Spotlight, Midnight in Paris) delivers a spectacular reading of Montgomery's beloved bildungsroman. In moments both funny and bittersweet, McAdams' voice is imbued with the spark that has made Anne a much-loved symbol of individualism and cheer for over a century.

Book and reader exelent
Revisado: 01-27-23
I am a long time lover of Anne of Green Gabels. since I was 10, in 1989 actually, and got my first "Anne" book for christmas. She was the first person I identified with, with my red hair, fiery temper, love for learning and impulsivity. Rachel McAdams, as it happens is also one of my favorit actresses and I absolutely loved her reading. I don't like audiobooks to sound like a play. I don't want them acted out for me, so this was the best audiobook I have ever listend to.

It's a book, not a play.
Revisado: 07-19-22
I liked the story well enough, and the narration for Gillian's parts was fine. But the other narrator almost made me not finish the book. I don't like listening to books that are acted out. I want to use my own imagination for the characters and it's rather difficult when the narrator play-reads the book. And she didn't even do it well. It actually stopped me connecting to the characters.

Historia
In this powerful true crime memoir, an award-winning identity theft expert tells the shocking story of the duplicity and betrayal that inspired her career and nearly destroyed her family. Axton Betz-Hamilton grew up in small-town Indiana in the early '90s. When she was 11 years old, her parents both had their identities stolen. Their credit ratings were ruined, and they were constantly fighting over money. This was before the age of the Internet, when identity theft became more commonplace, so authorities and banks were clueless and reluctant to help Axton's parents.

I must say that I love this book. when I bought it I wasn't sure about it, because financial crime isn't something I'm Usually into. But this book is about so much more. I strongly recomend.
