You knew who was involved fairly quickly. It was a not so great ending either. Apparently everyone is just okay with murder.

Even though you get an “I know where this is going” vibe right away, it was a feel good story that was enjoyable to listen to. The smooth sultry voice of the main character is the cherry on top.

I love the narrator. So I purchased the book. This story was all over the place and so much repetitiveness made it hard to keep interest.

I was a bit let down when I saw that she had not written but narrated the story. I was immediately brought back up. She needs to narrate way more stories. She brought this to life. Great story also, fun to listen to and most likely relatable regardless of your social status. Loved it!

Historia
Allie Hilts was still in high school when a fire at a top-secret research facility released an air-borne pathogen that quickly spread to every male on the planet, killing most. Allie witnessed every man she ever knew be consumed by fearsome symptoms: scorching fevers and internal bleeding, madness and uncontrollable violence. The world crumbled around her. No man was spared, and the few survivors were irrevocably changed. They became disturbingly strong, aggressive, and ferocious. Feral.

I was really excited when I first started listening. I wish the story stayed with it’s present tense longer instead of jumping ahead in time so quickly. There was still more story to tell. The ending was a little bit of a nice surprise.

A forgotten part bothered me until late in chapter 68
Revisado: 12-28-22
Feel like the author forgot a key character’s previous destiny and the information that the reader needed was just thrown in there as an oops I forgot.
Other than that I enjoyed the story. I would like to have more Tara present, she is interesting.

I have always enjoyed this narrator. I listened to the 1st book, it was good. I was hesitant on the 2nd just because well it is a second. I was proven wrong. Book 2 is even better than book 1.

Love the accent of the narrator, an easy to listen to voice. A book I could picture happening in my mind as it played out.
I was nervous the ending was going to ruin the image, even though a bit predictable towards the end it was still a good story

The Grand Hotel is a horror novel by esteemed best-selling author Scott Kenemore ( Zombie, Ohio) that takes the reader on a thrilling ride through an interconnected series of stories narrated by the desk clerk and the residents of the hotel itself. And while it is not known whether or not the desk clerk is actually the devil incarnate, it is strange that so many visitors who come for a tour of the hotel have a way of never leaving.

It says short stories. But it all comes together. The ending is amazing. I kept guessing but was wrong with some of it and it was great to hear it from the narrator, who is genius by the way.
