I like the funny spin to it.

Ohmygosh… WHO DID THE VOICE FOR THIS STORY?! HE’S MY FAVORITE. 🤩
Okay let’s start
Hadley:
Overall, this story is amazing. Constantly on repeat for me. A lot of the reviews say things like, “Just too silly.” Personally, I don’t agree. I might not follow the storyline of being in the chocolate factory the whole time, but I think that makes it so much better. I really loved when they went to space and the Kanids. So funny! Such an ingenious storyline. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone! (*Ahem, seriously though, who did the voice for this book?! HE IS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE 🤩.

Hadley:
I am not a HUGE fan of the Stella Batts stories because they’re for younger kids, but this one was a solid storyline. I don’t really like the name of the story, but I like how in the end, Stella fix’s the birthday party and chooses not to get Joshua in trouble. Good example for young kids. Overall, not my favorite book, but solid. 🙃❤️

Historia
Fifth grade was the worst year of Marc's life. He stunk at gym class, math was too hard for him, the school lunch was horrible, and his class field trip was ruined because he couldn't swim. But what was the most awful thing about fifth grade? Kenny Williamson, the class bully, who called himself the "King of the Jungle". When Marc's mother tells him that his uncle Jake is coming to stay for the whole summer, Marc can't wait. Uncle Jake is a for-real super-cool Navy SEAL. And Uncle Jake has a plan.

Fantastically Influential!
Revisado: 03-11-25
Hadley: Overall, the story was great! Good storyline too. Marc, a kid of the age of ten, is very wimpy at first, but when his Uncle comes to visit for the summer, he works hard with Marc to build his strength and confidence! I can’t speak for younger kids, but I think it’s great for boys 9+. Marc builds confidence in himself and helps build confidence in others people at the end too! A solid example and story. Although the one downside is that I didn’t prefer the voice for the story. It was okay, just not great with the different voices for different characters. I’m still keeping in mind that changing your voice is really hard to do.

Historia
What's the best day of the year? A birthday, of course! Stella Batts is turning nine, and she has big plans. Her family will be going to Pennsylvania to celebrate. That's where Stella's best friend Willa moved to, and Stella hasn't seen Willa for months. It's hard not to see your best friend for that long, so this is an important trip. But before Stella can get on the plane—disaster strikes! Now instead of a birthday weekend sleepover with Willa in Pennsylvania, Stella is stuck in a hospital room in her hometown of Somers, California, with a broken leg.

❤️✨Addicting?✨❤️
Revisado: 03-11-25
Hadley: I usually don’t like the Stella Batts series because it’s for younger kids, but for some reason this is addicting. I’ve been listening to it for a week straight now and still continuing to listen. At least for me, it never gets old! In this story especially, Stella is a good example to younger kids who listen to this. I like how she and Camille become friends, and Stella asks for a sugar free cake so that Camille (who has diabetes) can eat and enjoy the cake too! Camille was nice. 10/10 ❤️

A fantastic listen. Preston Sprinkle does a wonderful job of seeing and addressing all "sides of the story" in a gentle, loving way, brimming over with grace and gentleness, while also challenging the listener (whatever preconceived ideas. as be held). I would recommend this book to anyone.

Historia
In 2012, on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, an improvised explosive device left Dan Crenshaw's right eye destroyed and his left blinded. Only through the careful hand of his surgeons, and what doctors called a miracle, did Crenshaw's left eye recover partial vision. And yet, he persevered, completing two more deployments. Why? There are certain stories we tell ourselves about the hardships we face—we can become paralyzed by adversity or we can adapt and overcome. We can be fragile or we can find our fortitude. Crenshaw delivers a set of lessons to help you do just that.

Revisado: 09-19-20
AMAZING book. Every person living in the United States needs to listen to/read this. An incredibly refreshing, very level-headed look at so many "hot" topics. I found it challenging in the best of ways. It compels it's reader/listener to be a better individual. I will probably even go back and listen to it again. It really just left me wanting more.

Loved the narrator, but that's where my affection for this audiobook ends. I usually love a good thriller with twists and turns. This was just over the line. Unnecessary. Gross. Way too disturbing. Couldn't finish it. Waste of time and energy.
