Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

It was interesting that it had very very short chapters. Actually that made it quite easy to listen to as it did not dwell on any one thing over long. It was a fascinating book. I wished that it had told more about their living in California and whether or not the press hounded them there. I did not read any reviews before reading this book as I did not want to be influenced with other people’s opinions. I did buy it the first day it was out. I had no idea how bad the press could be towards people and I really feel like the Royal family could have handled it better by stopping the press from invading peoples privacy.
I highly recommend reading this book. Prince Harry did an outstanding job reading the book.

Good story
Revisado: 01-10-23
I liked the book. When Georgia is down on her luck, she inherits a beach house. What could be more wonderful than that. her daughter who has a broken engagement moves in with her. She also inherits an Inn which is next-door and they decide to fix it up and get it running again. This is a series and it continues into the next book. It is a very cute story.

I can listen to Scott Brick night and day and I did with this book. His narration is so good, and this book was so good, I listened to it straight through night and day. Loved it!
I liked “Missing You”, but not “Home”. I never could get into that one and never finished it, so I wasn’t sure about “No Second Chance” but the sample intrigued me, so I bought it and I am glad I did.

One of my favorites
Revisado: 08-06-18
I listened to this book a long time ago from the library, and remembered how much I had enjoyed it. I wanted to listen to it again, so I researched to find it and bought it from audible. Still loved it. Some of her books are O.K. And some are not so good. This one is fabulous.
Leslie has a horrible husband, tight as a tick, selfish and treats her as a servant. Her children are “no count” also. Her daughter Charlotte is an unwed mother of an adorable daughter Holly, Charlotte is in real estate and hasn’t sold a house, but gets her Leslie to babysit while she holds open house and then goes to bars at night with her friends. She totally takes advantage of her mother. The son Birdie is off somewhere foreign with dreadlocks and when he comes home hasn’t has a bath in a year and doesn’t think it necessary. He still takes money from his father, Wes. He is suppose to be a photographer, but not making any money selling his pictures.
Wes and Leslie go to Scotland along with Wes’s best friend and his new bimbo wife so the men can play golf at St Andrews golf course. While walking to their hotel room from a restaurant Leslie fell into a manhole and Wes and the others did not notice. Only once when they got to their destination did Wes notice she was missing, and he walked back along their route to see she was being loaded into an ambulance and taken to the hospital. Even though she had lost teeth and a broken arm, he complained that he missed the last day of playing golf.
The last straw was when they were at the country club with Wes’s friends and their bimbo wives, and the bimbos got in a cat fight. Wes was furious that Leslie did not take charge and stop it. Leslie’s took a taxi home. Leslie found in Wes’s home office that he had not secured a lock where he stored his documents. She found a bank statement that showed he had twenty-two million in assets. She was afraid they were ill-gotten.
Leslie left the next day for Charleston to visit her brother while Wes was playing golf without telling anyone where she was going. Her brother met her at the airport with his absolutely precious little dog Miss Josephine, who wore a sundress with olives and martini glasses on it. Her brother lived in an old Charleston house near The Battery. The next day the brother was able to find the bank account on line and lo and behold, Leslie’s name was on the account also. Harlan, her brother told her it was legit, and that she should go to the jewelry store and buy herself some diamond earrings. Leslie babysits Miss Josephine while Harlan takes a group to Rome. Miss Josephine is a Havanese and is such a character I wanted one, but I have two male Maltese that would not like to wear dresses.
Let the fun begin. This is just a teaser, you have to read this book. You will love it.
Loved the narrator; I have lived in SC all my life and thought her accent was good.

Historia
Orphaned at young ages, Lady Katherine Ashton and her brother have spent most of their lives on the high seas, seeking to restore their family fortune through somewhat dubious means. After that kind of adventure, Kate knows, she won't ever be accepted as a proper society lady. To the annoyingly clever, temptingly handsome, and altogether troublesome Earl of Wynbrook, society ladies are a dead bore. Kate, on the other hand, is scandalous, alluring, and altogether fascinating.

This book had a good story like a book should instead of endless sex. It had tad of sex but it was tasteful. It had a strong heroine instead of 0ne who was silly. I listened to it straight through. So many books get boring in the middle and I stop reading and never pick it up again. This was so filled with adventure that I couldn’t put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will listen to the next one in the series.

Historia
Tessa Wilson's life is all over the map. She may be clumsy, but this time she's stumbled into a pickle by choice, not by accident. She's agreed to take a month-long trip around Texas jammed into a '59 Cadillac with a drama-loving teenager, two elderly spitfires, and—oh, yes—her biological mama who gave her away at birth. And the ride gets even crazier when hot-as-sin cowboy Branch Thomas crosses into her lane. They don't call him the sexiest man in the Lone Star State for nothin'.

Revisado: 04-22-18
I loved, loved, loved this book!!!! Loved the narrator — she was perfect.
A road trip with two old ladies, a belligerent teenage girl, an adopted woman and her just met birth mother and a
hot good looking driver; all traveling in a red Cadillac 1956 or 58 convertible with the top down on a month long trip around Texas. What a wonderful laughter filled journey. I won’t spoil the fun of listening by telling more about it. Read it yourself you won’t regret it. I plan to listen to it often.
It reminded me of the time in 1961 when my college roommate and I took off from S . C. And travelled the country. It took us 5 days to get through Texas. While in Texas we were looking to see a cowboy and finally saw one going into a drugstore.
This book will make you laugh and cry. One of the most enjoyable books I have read lately.
