A must read for investigators.

This book covers a strategy for getting to the truth when someone is trying to withhold information. Not too soften from the Reid Technique, it encourages a non-coercive approximately to illicitation of guarded information. This book includes several real and hypothetical examples of interrogations.

While this was an interesting book about a fascinating, accomplished leader, it did not feel well organized, which was ironic, since organizing complex moving parts is what Anne Dunwoody's career was all about. It might have made more sense if it was structured chronologically, but it was, instead, structured by theme. Unfortunately, each chapter seemed only loudly linked by their respective themes, to the point where I found myself going back and re-listening to try to find the throughline.

A Must Listen Story about Idiots

I absolutely loved this novel. It will warm and break your heart, often within the same paragraph.
The voice performance was amazing. Marin Ireland managed to convey a wide array of emotions, all while portraying and ensemble cast.
every character was beautifully fleshed out both through the writing, and the voice work.

one of Michael Connelly's best

having read several other Michael Connelly books up to this point, and being a little burnt out on Harry Bosch, Blood Work was an enjoyable reprieve. I was in through the many twists and turns. overall I enjoyed the characters in this book. I might run into and enjoy sitting down with for a cup of coffee or a beer.
