Historia
At last, the definitive audiobook about perhaps the best cabin crew dramedy ever filmed: View from the Top starring Gwyneth Paltrow. In Ayoade on Top, Richard Ayoade, perhaps one of the most 'insubstantial' people of our age, takes us on a journey from Peckham to Paris by way of Nevada and other places we don't care about. It's a journey deep within, in a way that's respectful and non-invasive; a journey for which we will all pay a heavy price, even if you've waited for the smaller paperback edition. Ayoade argues for the canonisation of this brutal masterpiece.

A Masterwork of Comedic Aridity
Revisado: 08-30-20
Rarely have I experienced such commitment, consistency, and cleverness in a satirical exploit. The book left me grinning from the opening notes to the credits.

Historia
Novelist Henry "Coop" Cooper is contemplating a new book between sipping rum and lounging on a Baja beach with hotel owner Grady Doyle. When Grady tries to save a drunk from two thugs, Coop tags along for the sake of a good story. The drunk is Ebbie Milch, a small-time thief on the run in Mexico because he has stolen the never-before-seen first draft of Ernest Hemingway's A Moveable Feast from a wealthy rare-book dealer.

An enthralling escapade!
Revisado: 01-01-17
I picked up this book because I enjoy Eric Summer's easy and well enunciated narration, and the consistency with which he voices characters. He did not disappoint. I enjoyed all of the characters, the setting, and the details and dialog that were LEFT OUT, because I think that the taste that is given is enough.
