Worth the listen.

I enjoyed this title and would recommend it. It is well written and well acted, with the exception of the voice used by the main male lead, award winning actor Joseph Fiennes. I found his character choice odd; he sounded old,weak and "breathy". This story is based on a true story so maybe the real life man was described as quiet spoken, I haven't researched it yet, but I found it a bit annoying.

I liked the main character in the first two. Couldn't stand her most of the time in this book.

There were a thing or two that didn't line up with the first book. Small details, but skills have been caught. Main character... ugh. Made a very clear statement of feeling then went completely against that being very selfish and lacking all empathy. Was the author trying to make me dislike her? She did a good job. I was looking forward to this book but probably will not continue with the series... maybe. I enjoyed the first two so I might sit on it and consider it again later.

Terrifying real life/ trigger warning school violence

Colbie needs to narrate all the books... ALL ;)

Loved it! The narration by Colbie Smulders is great! It makes me realize how not so great some others narrators are, yikes! If you lived in this town, the number of crimes in such a short time would be terrifying which makes it unbelievable, but it keeps your attention. Great characters fun stories! Waiting for "season" 3.

I love a hot sex scene, but this is... well, it's very graphic and very dirty! Just wanted to put this warning out here because I read a good handful of reviews before purchasing, and I didn't see it mentioned. It's pretty much a porno.

The performances were great. Sorry was all over the place but entertaining. Great to listen to while cleaning or working out... but then... it ended. No resolution.

Don't judge a book by its movie!! Read the book!

Love the book. If you watched and didn't enjoy the movie, the book is 1000 times better. The movie cuts out so much of the story. A washed down, watered-down version that honestly shouldn't have been made. If i had watched it first, I wouldn't have read or listened to the book. Authors!!! Keep some artistic control of your work. Don't sell out.

*Suicide... Should have a trigger warning.

Written and performed very well. When the plot emerged, I won't wreck it but to say it involves teen suicide, I was a bit shocked and saddened. I just feel there should have been a trigger warning I guess. It's such a prevalent issue, so sad and heartbreaking.

Would have been okay but the narrators were not enjoyable. I guess the female grew on me eventually (a LITTLE), but she mispronounced 3,4,5 words and considering how intelligent the character is supposed to be, it was very irritating. The male... breathy and over dramatic... yuck. Did no one proof this? After hearing of the care the author put into selecting narrators for The Winston Brothers series I was very disappointed. I love Penny Reed so I will try again and maybe steer clear of(especially) the male narrator. Sorry sir...
