OMG!! Great book with a great narration💕
Revisado: 03-21-25
This is a great story!!! I want to reread it! The narration was phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal.
I loved this colorful well written and narrated book so much that I’m going to read or listen to the next book.
As a black woman, I don’t think this book should have been banned. It should be required reading in school. 💕

A loving and devoted step-father, Donnie introduced Tracy Ross's family to the joys of fishing, deer hunting, camping, and hiking among the pristine mountains of rural Idaho. Book Review: “Source of All Things” by Tracie Ross
Revisado: 02-24-25
I purchased this book, initially thinking it was by a different author, but instead of returning it, I decided to listen to it.
This well-written and narrated book offers a poignant perspective on how a family copes with the molestation of a child, told through the eyes of the child. Tracie’s transparency and vulnerability shine through in her storytelling, allowing readers to gain a deeper understanding of such a difficult subject.
I am grateful for the insights this book provided. It has helped me become a better friend and refuge for those experiencing abuse.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Surprisingly Good
Revisado: 01-19-25
It was a rather long book that started off slow, but I suggest you stay with it. Harry is quite vulnerable, which makes the book quite informative. I have a new found respect for Harry and his immediate family as well as the decisions he made as a result of how the media treated him, his family, and those that advised his family.
Oh, and I loved hearing the book read in Harry’s voice. I feel like I know him on a personal level.
This would make for an excellent book club review.

Historia
July 1863. The Confederate Army of Northern Virginia is invading the North. General Robert E. Lee has made this daring and massive move with seventy thousand men in a determined effort to draw out the Union Army of the Potomac and mortally wound it. His right hand is General James Longstreet, a brooding man who is loyal to Lee but stubbornly argues against his plan. Opposing them is an unknown factor: General George Meade, who has taken command of the Army only two days before what will be perhaps the crucial battle of the Civil War.

Perfect Read for Future Leaders!
Revisado: 09-15-24
This book was more about leadership styles than it was about the war. It’s a perfect book for all ages! I’ve already recommended it to adults in leadership positions and teachers/parents wanting to find a way to pique the interest of children!

Splendid romance I could see for myself. 🤭
Revisado: 09-15-24
I did not know what to expect. A friend of my suggested I read the book. She gave me no hint what it was about.
I instantly became curious about the main character when I realized she was actually going to live abroad, something I often have thought of but am too scared to act on. Then, just a couple of chapters in, we meet her handsomely beautiful, sexy, and old soul - Étienne. I think I connected with Ren’s story even more because it reminded me of a younger lover that pursued me until I gave him a chance (we had a lovely affair). So to me, the plot of this story is believable! I certainly don’t want to give anything away, but let’s just say, you will enjoy the book. Sometimes I wanted to read the book, others times I was pleased I could listen my car. Let’s just say, it’s a quick read/listen you may want to start on a Friday night.
I loved the characters, I loved the story. I was sad when I got to the end. 💕
I hope you will enjoy it too.
