Issa Rae is awesome and doing good stuff but this book is not very exciting and the stories not so amazing. It’s an interesting read - with stimulating perspectives.

If you want adventurous - read The Last Black Unicorn! Tiffany Haddish.

Wonderful but not enough

Amazing stories and interesting insights into the administration. Well told and really entertaining - but too short!! This book could have been twice as long, it's written so well and it's fascinating... I was a little disappointed that the death of Mandela (where there must have been some crazy stories) and the passing of the author's cat got muddled... but anyway, a great read.

If you're an engineer, politician, lawyer or... consultant this is a fascinating look into how the world of economics and modern markets are ruled and managed.

And, if you're just interested in recent history this is a very insightful read.

incredible and significant story

This is an inspiring and moving story of one man's defiance and spiritual journey as the German church is taken over by the Nazis and Germany too and then into the Second World War. It details his personal realization of what is true and right and the other characters on this side and their plot to assassinate Hitler.

I found the story in general fascinating and really enjoyable especially as I don't know much about Hitler or the war. It's very well told and never gets boring. It's also very biblical ie many biblical reference and references to Bonhoeffer's writings... I did find it could of had more detail about the assassination attempts or Bonhoeffer's specific role even though this element is well told and I guess it's not clear exactly how he was linked. I was expecting more action and drama.

Great read and very well performed.

Elijah wood does a sterling job of bringing this tale to our ears. I hope he considers doing the same with Tom Sawyer. One can hardly stop listening.

Fascinating and boring

This story is incredible. I watched the film and thoroughly enjoyed the story, and so I wanted to get into more of the detail. However, it's a seriously detailed read and not so easy to follow the technical aspects. But enjoyable none the less -- especially having the characters from the film in my imagination.
