Murakami is by far my favorite modern writer. This book was excellent, from captivating characters, story developement to outstanding narration. Everything made for another great Murakami book and listen.

Dissappointing...

I have got this book recently for free and I must say that I was really dissappointed! There Is no plot to talk about, no character development and It changes nothing in the overall story arch. There is no reason for this book to exist. On the other hand, the productiom Is excellent and especially Ripleys voice acting is superb!

What a book! As someone who grew up during the last years of cold war, this book is pretty challenging to almost all of my knowledge about world war 2, cold war and post 1989 era in my country. There is a lot of answers to questions, I was asking for the last 30 years. This book definitely proves the necessity for history revision. Highly recommended!

Beautiful insight into one of the greatest minds in the field psychology. You can clearly see his mental process in action as he steps you through sorting his memories. Especially his later thoughts and reflections on his life and his acomplishments I've found the most revealing of his maturity and self reflection. Superb book and excelent presentation!

Reading all the negative reviews regarding Finn J. D. John performance I hesitated with purchase. I gave a listen to sample and decided to give this collection a try. I must say that I really enjoyed J. D. Johns narration! Highly recommended! Looking forward to second volume :-)

This book is excelent in its scope and depth, surprising in its revelations and serves as a great reminder, that we need to constantly revisit history!
In the light of recent anti-Trump campaign we need to be vigilant, not settle for mainstream narrative and dig deeper! But most of all, we need to remember. Highly recommended!
