Mostly a Good Story

The plot and twists of the characters, as usual, were very well crafted. The problems Joe keeps running into, are most interesting.
But ... the dip into the he-she stuff was a complete waste of words. The basic story line, without both Mary Beth and Joe being tempted to stray, was excellent. No, I'm not a prude, but to me it took away from an otherwise good story.
CJ stick to what you do so well. Write about the real problems facing a game warden, the animals, his family problems that relate to his work, etc. If I want he-she writing, I'll buy a different author.

JA Jance writes an excellent, listenable story. Ali Reynolds has quickly become a favorite of my wife and me. Good twists and turns in the story-line will keep you listening.

Well crafted story, interesting characters, though some of the action is a bit "super-human" style, but enjoyable nonetheless. Typical well-thought-out story line, and character development.
