What disappointed you about Snatched?
It was completely disjointed. You could not follow the characters, nor was there character development. The "heroine" was pathetic and, despite the attempt, held no true depth. It went into minutia that was boring and could have been skipped and the bigger story, taht could have been interesting (I think) was somewhere in between. I never do this, but I quite after giving the book ten hours because it was that bad.

I almost want to give this a 1 star...ughhh

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
This was a self-help book and FAR LESS about his history and life. I was NOT AT ALL looking for advice from NC on life and found the book terribly annoying.
And NC does NOT even read it...I just hated all of it.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Ted Evans?
He was fine but I was expecting NC. SHould have read more closely.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I LOVED the Nora Roberts story line and books starting with Bed of Roses. I gave them all a five. This story line was SO boring with boring characters.
Would you ever listen to anything by Nora Roberts again?
It would be tough.

I was not a fan but the book looked interesting enough and I love bio(s) and this was on the New York Best Sellers list so I thought I would try it. I didn't hate his message (although he is totally arrogant and has an out of control EGO. HIS VOICE and the WAY he reads the book grated me on EVERY LEVEL! I have never given a negative review but don't do it!

I love chick lit and have reviewed almost every book I read hi but this is the trashiest books I have read. I don't mind a sex scene or two but this was just WAY too much for me. BEWARE!
