Love Mom was absolutely riveting! From the very first page, it pulls you into a whirlwind of questions—who, what, where, why—and keeps you guessing until the very end. The story is filled with unexpected twists and emotional turns that had me completely hooked. The voice narration added another powerful layer to the experience, drawing me deeper into the characters’ world. This is the kind of story that would translate beautifully on screen—I’d love to see it in theaters. A must-read for fans of suspenseful, emotionally driven storytelling!

Fun listen really enjoyed!

This may have been short but it was action-packed and an absolute blast! Packed with great action and energy, it kept me engaged the whole way through. I really appreciated how well-balanced the characters were—each with their own unique personality that added depth and charm to the story. It was fun, fast-paced, and totally entertaining. I definitely enjoyed the ride and would recommend it to anyone looking for an adventurous and engaging listen.

Fun and great pace

While the storyline may be somewhat predictable, The Commuter delivers a fast-paced and engaging experience that kept me listening from start to finish. The quick pace made it perfect for a short, thrilling escape. The voice performers were excellent and well-suited to their roles, bringing the characters to life with just the right tone and emotion. I really enjoyed this quick listen and would recommend it to anyone looking for a suspenseful, bite-sized thriller.

Awesome storyline and the twists… WOW!

I really enjoyed this audiobook! The storyline was gripping with just the right amount of twists to keep me guessing the entire time—every time I thought I had it figured out, I was wrong. The narration overall was solid, though I found the main character Celine’s voice a bit slow for my taste. I bumped the speed up to 1.2x, and that made all the difference.

I’ve seen some reviews mentioning the sexual assault elements in the story, and I get the discomfort. But honestly, those moments are what reveal just how much of a monster the antagonist truly is—and why he absolutely deserved what came to him. If you’re into dark thrillers that mess with your head in the best way, this one’s a must-listen.

Frustrating main character but the ending was worth it

I’ve enjoyed Freida McFadden’s books before, but The Inmate tested my patience. The main character, Brooke, is incredibly naive—so much so that I almost couldn’t finish the book. Her decisions were frustrating, and at times, I found it hard to stay engaged. That said… the ending completely redeemed it. The twist at the end and the epilogue were so unexpected and well done that it made the struggle worth it. If you can push through the irritation and back to back eye rolls as you trudge through it, the payoff at the end is definitely satisfying.

Great book: Don’t know how to feel about this one

It’s so true. As you move through this book you go through so many emotions that by the end you just don’t know how to feel. Thats what makes this book so damn good. You have to take time to unfold the layers of your thoughts and emotions from every character’s point of view because when you initially put the book down you’re left with a brain numbing feeling. In my opinion, you will walk away from the book one of two ways: the way of the protagonist and let things go ( let sleeping dogs lay where they lay if you will) or you will sit and ponder this one for much longer. Not sure which one I am yet.
