Life Changing!!
Revisado: 05-12-21
After listening to this book, I cannot have a negative thought without automatically thinking of scripture that demolishes those lies.
Craig Groeschel is a prime example of someone who is living his Chazone (see his book by that title). When someone is living their Chazone/Purpose they speak life changing truths into others.
THIS has been the case with me and I have definitely been transformed by his wisdom as my mind is being renewed daily. But I am a lifetime learner so I didn’t just listen once. I go back to the chapters and my notes and keep trying to perfect the process of demolishing the lies in my life by;
1. IDENTIFYING THE LIE.
2. FINDING TRUTHS IN GOD’S WORD THAT NEGATE THE LIE.
3. DECLARATIONS. WITH THE ABOVE INFORMATION IN MY ARSENAL, I THEN REFRAME MY THOUGHTS BY REWRITING MY “self-talk” SCRIPT/DECLARATION.
If you truly want to have a more abundant life (John 10:10), you will not regret reading this book.

Short and Sweet
Revisado: 11-03-17
This was a sweet story from the beginning until the end. Not always a "feel good" type book, like can be hard along the way. But definitely an inspiring story. We all have a path, a reason for living.

Historia
At the age of 22, Jennifer Worth left her comfortable home to move into a convent and become a midwife in postwar London’s East End slums. The colorful characters she met while delivering babies all over London - from the plucky, warm-hearted nuns with whom she lived to the woman with 24 children who couldn't speak English to the prostitutes and dockers of the city’s seedier side - illuminate a fascinating time in history.

Alarmingly Captivating!!
Revisado: 10-08-17
The sweetness of the stories, the stark inside look of the English peasant people, the crudeness of the lowest of the low and the heart of the catholic sisters. It is all so revealing and heartwarming as told from the perspective of a young English nurse and midwife in the 1950's. I will undoubtedly listen again! I must also add that the narrator did a superb job!!

I read this book years ago and recently loaned to a friend who has been majorly depressed and anxiety filled. It is helping her to look outside of herself. I decided to buy the audio version so that I myself would have a quick, "pick-me-up" when needed. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs to be reminded of how important human beings are for each other!!
