Historia
Oliver: I'm halfway across the world in a bar in London celebrating my last year of vet school when I spot the sexiest silver fox I've ever seen. We flirt, we kiss, and I have one of the best nights of my life. I'm sure I'll never see him again, which is why I don't give him my real name....Beckham: I went back to London so I could bury my father and put our rocky past to rest. Drinking the evening away at a pub would be the therapeutic thing to do. That's where I met one of the most interesting and attractive guys I'd ever chatted with. One I was sure I would never see again.

Amazing Voice Talent Performance, But a Little....
Revisado: 05-03-20
So far this is the one Stonewall Investigation book I struggled to finish, and honestly the only reason I did was to confirm my hunch on the villain. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good story and you want the protagonists to champion over all the obstacles thrown in their way. Where I struggled is one of the main characters just kept falling into the ‘damsel in distress’ mindset which ultimately I found irritating two-thirds into the book. I just kept waiting for him to get mad, stop being the victim, to start fighting back but it just never happened. I honestly got to a point where I kinda wanted the villain to win. It’s not a bad story and if someone needing to constantly be rescued doesn’t bother you then I highly recommend it. Not everyone can be Linda Hamilton in Terminator.
PS, once again absolutely amazing voice talent. Greg Boudreaux deserves an award for his work.

Sexy and Intriguing, You Won’t Stop Listening.
Revisado: 05-03-20
This was my first introduction into the Stonewall Investigation universe and what a way to start. The main protagonists are crafted with such unique complexity that it truly felt like real people with complicated pasts trying their best to get a fresh start. You’ll see a good balance between crime/drama and romance, but this one does read as more of a romance than a crime drama which I loved. I must admit the romantic encounters between these two gentlemen were hot and I could not help but want to hear more. Overall it was a great read and led me to purchase three other books in this series. Highly recommended.

Zane Holden hasn't had the easiest go of things. The only good thing in his life would be Stonewall Investigations, an investigative company he found to work primarily with the LGBTQ community. Lorenzo De Luca is a cocky defense attorney dripping in Italian charm. He's well known as one of the best lawyers in New York City, a title he worked hard to achieve. When he picks up a difficult case, he finds that he needs extra help. This leads him to Stonewall, where he meets Zane for the first time and instantly feels himself falling for the mysterious and stone-cut detective.

Excellent Read
Revisado: 05-03-20
I just recently discovered Max Walker and the Stonewall Investigation series, and I am hooked! The author did a fantastic job of crafting together a touching and engaging story with multi-layered characters that are relatable. It was a nice balance between crime/drama and romance. I did notice some other reviews seemed a little unhappy with the steamy romance scenes but honestly it was descriptive enough to keep you engaged and wanting more without turning into raunch. I've already purchased several others in this series and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for M4M romance.
I also want to make a special call-out to the narrator Greg Boudreaux, this man is a genius. I've actually heard him cover another series of books and I am blown away at how easily he can transition across gender and nationality so flawlessly. You would almost swear you were listening to a radio drama with multiple actors. Fantastic voice talent!

Entagling Supernatural Drama & Romance Await!
Revisado: 09-28-19
I just recently discovered the growing Badlands series by Morgan Brice and I've been like a kid in a candy story. I've burned through all three Bandland books on here in less than two weeks, thanks to a lengthy daily commute to work. Vic and Simon and so adorable together and I just love how they have grown to open up to each other as they navigate love, working together, and the things that keep going bump in the night.
The narrator does a fantastic job telling the story and handles himself very well with those steamy love scenes.
I truly hope there are more adventures for Vic and Simon to come to Audible, I wanna see those two get hitched! I highly recommend this series to anyone who appreciates supernatural fiction with a M4M storyline. PS, it's about time quality work like this was out there. Keep 'em coming!!!

A Touching & Arousing Adventure
Revisado: 09-06-19
This second chapter of David and Aaron's story is filled with touching romantic gestures, steamy passionate experiences, and heartfelt struggles as they navigate their way through a new chapter in both of their lives. It's enduring to remember what it's like when a new love takes hold, and this story will sweep you off your feet and into their complicated yet fulfilling lives. Their incredible romantic encounters will leave you begging for one more word, one more description, and one more time before the story comes to an end. The author continues to amazing me with his gift of descriptive story-telling and painting a picture I sometimes long to be a part of. I highly recommend this book and I wait with anticipation for the conclusion of David and Aaron's journey.

Absolutely Amazing!
Revisado: 08-20-19
I've always been a fan of the Alien universe since the first time I saw Aliens when I was 6 years old. While it gave me nightmares for a month, it inducted me into a love of the science fiction or horror genres. Aliens, by far, is my favorite movie and I've worn out multiple copies of both VHS and DVD versions. This book is that good. I could easily listen to this story again and again. The characters are beautifully written and the sound/production value is top-notch. If you like the Alien universe you MUST listen to this book. I can't wait to start the next in the series.

Promise, Michigan, is very much like every other small town across the state. Built on the edge of a lake, the homes sit in neat little rows in cute little neighborhoods. During the summer Promise bustles with tourists who come to spend their vacation dollars and enjoy the lake's refreshingly cold water. But Promise holds a terrible secret. In the center of the lake is an abandoned island where a curse is rumored to wait for victims, unabated, and deadly.

The Best One Yet
Revisado: 08-20-19
I've been following the Wraith series for some time now and I just finished this book. I can honestly say this was probably the best work Feeley's done yet in this series. There was a deeper dive into the internal conflicts and personality flaws of the main characters, something I didn't realize I was missing until it was given to me. You truly feel the internal family dynamic of the main character's adopted family and can relate to their loving embrace and fierce conviction for justice. This story isn't black or white, you find yourself desperately rooting for the main character and at the same time you feel empathy for the wraith. I am truly happy with this purchase and would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy/fiction.
Well done, Mr. Feeley!

Intriguing, Suspenseful, and Fantastic
Revisado: 03-30-19
I’ve been a fan of the author since his Human Wraith series, and this latest creation does not fall short of absolutely masterful. The author creates an entire world which is very reminiscent of small town charm, busy-body gossips, and dark secrets that everyone knows and knows better than to bring up. Growing up in a small town I am all too familiar with how things are never what they seem and Feeley captures every nuance that would expect and then some. I can only compare this to watching a paranormal TV series and focusing on the overarching story line of an entire season come together into a combative and explosive conclusion. This story would make one hell of a movie. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves paranormal fiction, you truly will not be disappointed.

F.E. Feeley knocks it out of the park, once again!
Revisado: 01-21-19
I've only recently started listening to audio books and I stumbled across F.E. Feeley's first book in this series a couple of months ago. Within moments, I was hooked and once I finished it I could hardly wait to start this next chapter in the Human Wraith series. The author's vivid description of middle-of-nowhere Kansas was on point, and his characters are both lovable and familiar. You feel like you know both of them, you understand the intricacies of their relationship, and their drive to band together against all odds to face and defeat an unseen foe. It's so refreshing to find well-written horror fiction with gay leads and to have relatable characters that go beyond the stereotype. Throughout the book I found myself rooting so hard for these two guys to make it through all the horrible things being thrown against them. Overall, a wonderful read and I highly recommend this book and the series to anyone who enjoys supernatural and horror stories.
Well done!

Delightful and Wonderful
Revisado: 12-21-18
It’s rare to get a horror/suspense story with the main character being a gay man. It was a wonderful story, and I loved being twisted between the suspense of the haunting and the love story of the main character. I absolutely loved this book! I’m excited to start the next in the series.
