should have stopped at book 1
Revisado: 04-24-25
I'm just not into stories where the main character can't tell if he's in reality or not. This is just a worse version of the movie inception. And it leaves off with a hanger that leaves room for book 3. I really enjoyed book one, But book two just didn't do it for me.

Overall mediocre
Revisado: 11-17-24
It's not that it was bad, it wasn't. but it was just ok. There were to many unexplained things. the story wasn't fleshed out. To many favorable coincidence for the good guys. Many of the narrators voices were very cartoonish.

rip off remash of the stand
Revisado: 10-27-24
This is just a ripoff rehash of "The Sand". Fitch is Flag and he goes around collecting all of his commanders. something happens that kills off everybody except for the main profits and leaders for both sides, good and evil. yada yada yada.

the story line is good. the characters are well fleshed out, but the writing is a little juvenile. The narrator is flat.

Good story, Gets a little bogged down in places. but worth the read. Will be interesting to see if another book follows. there is still plenty of meet left on the bone for another book.

Boring
Revisado: 07-22-24
OMG. I'VE READ/listened to hundreds of books. this is the first one I have ever not finished. there is no story. it's just random descriptions of unrealistic battles that don't seem to build a story. it's hard to follow. I can't tell if the main character is reliving a certain scene or if they just keep using the same trope over and over again. Narrator was good. good character voices, timing, and flow.

Historia
It is a week since the outbreak began in New York. The president has been betrayed. The vice-president is dead. The conspirators are close to victory. Having narrowly escaped agents of the cabal, Tom Clemens heads to Washington in the hope of warning the president, but it is too late. The highways are impassable, filled with millions fleeing from the cities. As refugees storm the towns, and zombies fill the smoking ruins, survivors become more deadly a threat than the impossibly living dead.

Amateurish
Revisado: 04-26-19
very disappointing after reading the other books in this series. the writing is very amateurish. and the main character's personality completely
changed from the other books. The narrator is awful compared to the other one Frank used for "surviving the evacuation". this narrator makes all the female voices sound like drag queens and his geographic voices are cartoonish. all and all it's hard to believe same person with both these series
