Thank you for remembering and sharing. As a 20 year old airman, I was on the receiving end of the marines being identified at Rhine Main AB. I’m glad I was able to help get those marines back to their families; I would have expected them to do the same for me. This tragic event was a pivotal moment for me. I served for 36 years and remember this like it was yesterday. Every October 23rd I remember that I’m still here and they should be. So I live as they should have and remember every year. There is a lesson in this book for everyone.

Angry people should not write books

Good story line, very clever, I enjoyed that part.

The incessant cursing and dropping of the F-bomb by the Coast Guard Chief to the girl and the father both detracted from and diminished the believability of the story. The negative Jew comment was also unnecessary by the Coast Guard Chief.

It always intrigues me how people who have never served depict military members to include Coast Guard. Please correct me if I’m wrong on the service part of the writer.

The background noise was very distracting it sounded like the noise between a vacuum cleaner and a leaf blower. There are stock propeller noise out there that would been have been more appropriate for this application.

Great Listen Fun and Fast Paced

Really enjoyed listening to this fun and fast paced book. I felt like I was watching the story unfold before me. I learned a lot about the culture and about all the facets and moving parts of where tradition meets modern. The real struggle of pleasing family and being true to yourself. Everyone can learn and get a take-away from this well written story.
