Historia
Carpenter Whitney Whitaker, her cousin Buck, and guard-cat Sawdust just scored a hot property near downtown Nashville in a tax sale. While the Music City Motor Court might not be much to look at now, the two plan to transform the motel's 12 units into six one-bedroom condominiums with popular mid-century styling. But surprises await when Whitney discovers a squatter living in Room Nine and Sawdust uncovers a body in the bed next door.

I liked this story and it was a good listen; however, it would have been much better with Sophie Amoss as narrator!

Historia
After Lucy is found wandering the streets, covered in her best friend Savvy’s blood, everyone thinks she is a murderer. Lucy and Savvy were the golden girls of their small Texas town: pretty, smart, and enviable. Lucy married a dream guy with a big ring and an even bigger new home. Savvy was the social butterfly loved by all, and if you believe the rumors, especially popular with the men in town. It’s been years since that horrible night, a night Lucy can’t remember anything about, and she has since moved to LA and started a new life.

This was the most boring 😴 drivel in the mystery genre. I couldn't finish the trash. I couldn't care less who done it.

Historia
The streets of San Francisco would be lined with hardcovers if rare book expert Brooklyn Wainwright had her way. And her mentor wouldn't be lying in a pool of his own blood on the eve of a celebration for his latest book restoration. With his final breath he leaves Brooklyn a cryptic message, and gives her a priceless - and supposedly cursed - copy of Goethe's Faust for safekeeping.

Main Character ruined this book...
Revisado: 07-12-24
I found the main character too overly obsessed with herself. No surprise she had little to no friends or acquaintances. She was warry of everyone, which made the "mystery" story drag on and on. No good parts stand out in this story to make it a good listen. I would not recommend to anyone looking for a enjoyable mystery.

Disappointed
Revisado: 05-22-24
While I love the settings and main characters of this series, I was disappointed in the story line that seemed to be too drawn out. I found it to be confusing at times as if the author wasn't sure of the story herself and was making it up on-the-fly...too many dead end characters and not enough intriguing development.
