This was a reread for me (on audio) and it was just as good as the first time I read it! Rose and Connor did a phenomenal job bringing Chris and Avery to life! I am obsessed all over again!! Chris makes me so emotional with his love for Avery and the way Connor portrayed that with his voice was beautiful and Rose did such an amazing job as Avery! Jenni could not have picked better narrators!!

Christian Damiano! OMG this man!! He is so perfect and everything! He may be a grumpy grump but he is so swoony for his Avery!! This man made me cry a few times with his love for her!

Avery meets Chris at a bar— she is trying to get over her cheating ex! Her friends ditch her so she goes home with Chris…hello one night stand! She then realizes he plays for her dad’s team—The Boston Revs! So she leaves and doesn’t look back. Fast forward two months and she runs into Chris— he then realizes she is his coach’s daughter. Chris and his coach don’t really see eye to eye so that causes even more problems! And that forbiddenness is just DELICIOUS!!

Also, Avery is so over men so she is taking a year off of dating. Chris wants Avery in any way he can so they form a beautiful relationship! He waits for her and it is the sweetest thing in the entire world and I just love him so much. He is so so perfect!

I loved this book so much and it is one of my top reads of the year!!!! I cried a few times and that is so unlike me! I just love Chris so much!! He is so perfect.

This was my second time reading this beautiful story and it was even better than when I read it the first time! Brit can literally do no wrong and I am obsessed with everything she writes.

Jocelyn is a single mom of two cuties with a horrible ex-husband who causes a lot of trouble. She is trying to get the hang of single motherhood, while dealing with life and also in school to become a nurse.

She meets her new neighbor’s friend, Jesse. He becomes so smitten with Jocelyn and he fights HARD for her attention. I just loved how obsessed he is with her and her kids.

The narrators did amazing! And the way they did the kids voice blew me away!! Especially little Jude—this is the cutest little boy with a lisp. It was adorable! I just love rereading in audio because it makes me feel that much more and that’s exactly what happened. I am beyond in awe of everyone involved in this audio!

Duet Narration!

DUET NARRATION! Duet narration just hits different and this was done so so well. There was also two extra narrators (male and female) that read the lines from side characters which was really cool and I hadn't ever listened to anything like that. The main narrators Angelina Rocca and Corvin King did so well with this audio! I felt all the emotion and spice. The spicy scenes were extra spicy because of them! One of my favorite audios!!

I absolutely loved this one! It is my third Rosa book and she just knows how to write a good age gap! It was sexy, sweet and fun! The accents were so well done too!! And the narrators did a flawless job! The story was amazing as well! 10/10 recommend!
