Fantastic characters and universe building
Revisado: 05-23-24
A classic for good reason! Blurred lines between good and evil. Decision making and what makes us humans.

When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Series doesn't disappoint
Revisado: 01-09-23
Amazing story! Completely character driven with great comedy, heroism, and a truly grimdark attitude. If anything should be adapted into live action I'd choose this series. Relatable and fun!

Home run for 2 out of 3
Revisado: 12-07-22
The first two books of matyrs get a perfect score. The portrayals of the villains in the first two books are easily the best of each of those factions. The martyrs are insanely charismatic and relatable.
The third narrator gets the benefit of the doubt that the writing was so bad she did the best she possibly could. That 3rd book was horrible! Struggled to finish. It was like hitting a brick wall.

Not sweating it but...
Revisado: 08-21-22
Fantastic read! Great information and guidance. The reader of the titles, however, should have read the entire book. The author uses some "personal" anecdotes but honestly his monotone nature isn't the usual quality an audiophile enjoys. Not a deal breaker though... nothing to sweat over 😊
