Wonderful read
Revisado: 10-03-20
I am not one for space movies nor books, so a ton of the lingo went over my head. Regardless, I enjoyed every moment of this book. Never a dull moment. I cared about and became enthralled by every character. Only one death truly didn't surprise me, but everything else was perfect.

Historia
Three years ago, Tyrus Domitrian shocked the galaxy by killing the woman he swore to love forever. The woman for whom he upended the Empire. Now, the once-idealistic heir apparent has become the cruel Emperor Tyrus, wielding his authority with an iron fist, capable of destroying planets with a single word, controlling all technology with a simple thought. He has bent the Grandiloquy to their knees, and none have the power to stand against him. But there is a muttering among the Excess. They say that Nemesis is not truly gone.

Beautifully ended- Sorta?
Revisado: 09-12-20
Although I crave just one more chapter, like a closing statement, this final book in the series was amazing. I wish to know more about various characters towards the end, but I suppose their can't be that much of a fairytale ending.
There were some lengthy bits in there that seemed unnecessary, but overall felt good. I only have an issue over the final two chapters. Everything leading up to it was fine, great build up, had me in suspense. Yet, for how everything was handled, it almost felt rushed. A couple more pages could have made this a 5 star. But the ending just.. Didn't settle well with me.

It's a new day in the Empire. Tyrus has ascended to the throne with Nemesis by his side, and now they can find a new way forward - one where they don't have to hide or scheme or kill. One where creatures like Nemesis will be given worth and recognition, where science and information can be shared with everyone and not just the elite.

So much better!
Revisado: 09-05-20
Although the narrator slipped at times, she also seemed to grow some acting skills. as for the story, it's miles better the first. I did feel a little annoyed by the repetitive jerks on this rollercoaster, but holy hell was this astonishingly amazing.

Historia
Nemesis is a Diabolic, a humanoid teenager created to protect a galactic senator's daughter, Sidonia. The two have grown up side by side but are in no way sisters. Nemesis is expected to give her life for Sidonia, and she would do so gladly. She would also take as many lives as necessary to keep Sidonia safe. When the power-mad emperor learns Sidonia's father is participating in a rebellion, he summons Sidonia to the Galactic court. She is to serve as a hostage. Now there is only one way for Nemesis to protect Sidonia. She must become her.

Some overlying issues, but a beautiful story
Revisado: 08-29-20
First off, this story felt like a rollercoaster. An enjoyable one that had some sudden jolts. Like those jerks on the Mouse roller coaster at Lagoon. And still, I enjoyed them. I do not dislike this story.
Only a few plagued this beautiful story. There were some predictable outcomes and some.. Unfavorable ones that seemed forced. I can tell a forced plot device when I see it and it came up few times, though the story saved itself quickly after. The final hours of this book were the only shaky portions that truly made me feel less inclined to finish, but I'm so happy I did.
The only other issue I have is that the narrator did a poor job at times articulating a male's voice. Though, it honestly added to some characters due to their personalities. If I could give half stars, I would since this isn't a 5 nor is it a 4. A solid 4.5 is my final verdict.
I highly recommend this and already see myself downloading the next in the series.
