These stories of Solar Pons, the Sherlock Holmes of Praed Street, were written by August Derleth and published by Mycroft and Moran. Excellent pastiches of Sherlock Holmes. The performances were also excellent.

Three interesting science fiction stories. I read the Poul Anderson story in the early 60s, titled Star Ways, an excellent story. I read the George H Smith story in the 70s, then titled Kar Kaballa, instead of Druid's World. The final story was new to me. All were entertaining.

This audiobook collects Wellman’s John Thunstone and Lee Corbet stories, written between 1943 and 1979. These stories combine the mystical and horrific with traditional Southern folk tales and legends. These stories also reveal a post-World War II modernism that make them much more then pulp romanticism. The paranoia and cynicism of modern weird icons, such as The X-files, may well have had their genesis in the pulp musings of Manly Wade Wellman.

Excellent occult detective stories by Manly Wade Wellman about John Thunston, Lee Cobbett, and Judge Pursuivant! Most were about Thunston, several about Cobbett, and the last story included both Cobbett and Pursuivant. All fun stories! At the end we're two stories from the 2nd volume in the series including the title story: The Devil Must Not Be Mocked set in a castle in Transylvania during WWII.

Enjoyable production! I was familiar with the "hand of glory", so was not surprised by a few of Holmes's deductions. Hughes Ashton's story was well written and Steve White's delivery was excellent!
