Historia
How did she turn a side hustle into a game-changing business, and at the same time, achieve happiness and fulfillment in her life? For Charlotte, it all came down to one thing - jeong. One of the most important Korean cultural concepts, jeong is a deep and meaningful connection that can be felt between people, places, and things. It goes deeper than love and friendship, and grows stronger with time. In South Korea, jeong encourages generosity, empathy, and the cultivation of lasting bonds.

Such a heartwarming book!

It was perfect timing to listen to this book, especially after a year of quarantine and feeling disconnected from relationships. I grew up in an immigrant community, and the concept of jeong reminded me of a lot of connections I made with my family and friends over the years. It also gave me insight into what makes life truly meaningful. I also loved to hear Charlotte’s personal narration of her stories, as an entrepreneur and her roles as a mom, friend, daughter, cofounder and wife. It's such a special part of the experience. Lastly, her stories made me definitely add Seoul to my travel bucket list. I've just gotten into Korean dramas and I feel I got a treasure trove of insight into Korean culture and pop culture through this book!
