Mostly boring.
Revisado: 04-05-24
85 percent of the book is dribble dialogue to fill in space. The 15 percent meat of the story was good but the other was boring.

Historia
Few figures in American politics have seen more and said less than Mitt Romney. An outspoken dissident in Donald Trump’s GOP, he has made headlines in recent years for standing alone against the forces he believes are poisoning the party he once led. Romney was the first senator in history to vote to remove from office a president of his own party. When that president’s supporters went on to storm the US Capitol, Romney delivered a thundering speech from the Senate floor accusing his fellow Republicans of stoking insurrection.

Disappointing
Revisado: 12-17-19
I really likedAdrian McKinty’s other books but this one just isn’t up to the same standard. I’m hoping he will go back to the Irish oriented themes.

Historia
Leon Uris retums to the land of his acclaimed best-seller Exodus for an epic story of hate and love, vengeance and forgiveness. The Middle East is the powerful setting for this sweeping tale of a land where revenge is sacred and hatred noble. Where an Arab ruler tries to save his people from destruction but cannot save them from themselves. When violence spreads like a plague across the lands of Palestine - this is the time of The Haj.

This is a terrific story of religious fanaticism and the true evil of religious zealots. Israelis and Palestinians have both been cursed with the same religious affliction and a good example of why we should reject religious righteousness in our own country - in whatever form and under whatever banner.
