Typical for Dan Brown, complex tale, requires some thought, not immediately predictable. Good characters, worth the listen.

This book is the first I’ve read (or listened to) that captures just how exceptional Gerald Ford was. In my lifetime of 14 presidents, Mr Ford very well may have been the best. Don’t believe me? Listen to this book.

Kids have grown into new heroes. As usual complex villains. The story goes by too quickly.

I'm a Nam Vet, this book rings true in so many ways. I strongly recommend it to those who ask "what was it like?"

As a Baby Boomer I grew up with MLK and the peaceful Black revolt he and many others began. Now, more than 50 years later I see quantifiable differences in American Black culture and attitudes. Ms Owens pens a disturbing, perhaps radical challenge to today’s political status quo.

Agree or disagree with her, this book will make the reader ask difficult questions.

Those of us over 50 were taught civics and American government based the foundation of ‘Federalist vs Republican’ concepts and comprises. Too many of those arguments are no longer presented in our schools or universities. Our society seems to have forgotten the difference between needs and wants. Mr. Will does an excellent job of bribing those issues into today’s politics.

As a mature American male most autobiographies come across to me as either wishful history or sexual fantasies; this one is different. I believe ALW presents his history honestly and provides the reader (listener) with unique insights into the world of musical composition and theater. A very enjoyable book, well read by Mr Perkins.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes and I have. For history fans it is seldom we get an accurate book that reads like a novel. There are some points of conjecture, rather than detract, they make the book better.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Not applicable, rather, the character development of the historical figures was extremely well done. I learned something about each of them I did not know before.

What does Bill O'Reilly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Whenever the author reads his/her own book they provide emphasis where they intended it; if you will, O'Reilly adds depth to the book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

You thought you knew John Wilkes Booth?

Any additional comments?

Audible should figure out how to make the pictures from texts and non-fiction available to its listeners.
