Would you try another book from Jayne Ann Krentz and/or Amanda Cobb?

Way too much talking. Lost interest straight away and gave up.

What was most disappointing about Jayne Ann Krentz’s story?

It just wasn't interesting enough to keep listening.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Just didn't want to waste my time listening to it when I know there are some fantastic audio books available.

What did you love best about Thornwood House?

I felt as though I was there. Beautiful descriptions but not long winded. The story kept twisting and turning.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes there's was such a mystery but this unravelled slowly never giving too much away. I was gripped to the end.

What about Eloise Oxer’s performance did you like?

Brilliant reader. The voice changes were subtle but so effective.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yep, I couldn't stop listening but at the same time didn't want it to end.

Definitely one of my favourites and planning to listen to the other one.

If you could sum up Trouble in High Heels in three words, what would they be?

Exciting, funny and suspenseful.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Brandi thought like a normal woman and still had some insecurities besides being beautiful. Her confidence is not conceited.

Which character – as performed by Amanda Ronconi – was your favorite?

Brandi and her mother.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Brandi asked for her mother's help. That was good.

Any additional comments?

Totally enjoyed this book. It's not what I expected. The main characters were great and not what they seem to be at first. Bit of a slow start but really enjoyed it once things got moving.

I haven't enjoyed any play type audio books so I wasn't surprised when I turned this off early on.

Brilliant storyline. Great characters. Gruesome, funny and a real pleasure. A must for crime readers.

Even better than reading the book. The narrators voice got on my nerves to begin with but I find this with every audio book I listen to as it takes a bit of getting used to before you get lost in the story. Jean you are great :)
