So descriptive you feel like you lived it
Revisado: 03-14-16
Where does The Las Vegas Madam rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Pretty high but you have to be in the right mood. It is a fast listen, very graphic, excellent in full disclosure and a real detailed view of this kind of life. However, if you don't like graphic sex and TMI then you should pass. I loved her honesty and I am a TMI junkie so I really liked this book.
Have you listened to any of Teri Schnaubelt’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was my first book read by Teri - she was excellent. I was never bored, she made me laugh and she sounded like she enjoyed reading the book.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I had several extreme reations to this book....if you don't I am worried about you. It made me feel lot's of things i.e. laugh, sadness, lonliness, repulsed, happy, hopeful, excited and one or two descriptions actually made me sick to my stomach! LOL
Any additional comments?
If you like it hard, fast, real descriptive and unapologetic then GO FOR IT you won't be disappointed.

Just okay
Revisado: 09-18-14
If you could sum up Comanche Moon in three words, what would they be?
Repetitive, irritating heroin, painfully too long.
What did you like best about this story?
The descriptions of the native way of life, philosophy, and language. I loved Hunter.
What didn’t you like about Ruth Ann Phimister’s performance?
The smacking, swallowing, "old lady" voice, background door shutting and what sounded like dogs barking was so awful - I tolerated it but it was difficult. I found her tone was so dull that it took away from the story. She paused for so long and sometimes spoke so slowly and other times she just read along "normaly."
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Oh God no! It was so long, sometimes I struggled to keep listenting.

Any woman caught in his presence was immediately ruined. Yet Beth found herself inexorably drawn to the Scottish lord whose hint of a brogue wrapped around her like silk and whose touch could draw her into a world of ecstasy.

God I love this book!
Revisado: 05-17-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Definately! It is so honest and well written. I decided to trust all the other reviews before me and I am so happy I did! It is hot and enticing, specific, but totally lovely! It is graphic in the most perfect and well written way. The love scense are tasefull and unique. It made me shudder more than once!!
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie?
How open and honest Ian and Beth are with each other. There's no games, no wondering how they feel - there's no embarrassment and you can hear that in the way the story is written and the delivery of the narrator. I found myself falling in love with this couple and just rooting for their happiness.
What about Angela Dawe’s performance did you like?
Her voice is perfect! She has a deep voice - never shrill. It is seductive and works perfectly for both male and female. She has a great flow - never too fast, never exaggerated and she speaks each charater in such a way that really helps portray their personalities.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Wicked Hot Indulgence!
Any additional comments?
Go have a hot, enticing listen that will satisfly all your "great book" expectations! This book feels like a vacation - I hope you enjoy it too!

VERY ENJOYABLE!!
Revisado: 03-20-13
What made the experience of listening to The Bride the most enjoyable?
The author's humor. She just is a master at wit, sass, and genuine humor. I am laughing out loud and finding myself just loving the charaters. She develops wonderful relationships and charaters.
What other book might you compare The Bride to and why?
Any of Julie Garwood's other Highland books. I think this is the third one I have listened to and I want to work my way through the rest. One thing I really admire about the author is that not all the books are the same. The stories are different, the charaters personalities are different and each book is unique. I don't like it when you read several books by the same author and you can recognize repeated phrases or descriptions. I don't find that in Ms. Garwood's books.
Which character – as performed by Rosalyn Landor – was your favorite?
Hmmm, that's a hard one. I loved Jamie, Alec and the priest. I love Jamie's strength and spit and vinegar! I loved Alec's banter with his men and his patience/tenderness with Jamie. I also admired the priest and how he creatively helped to nurture both Jamie and Alec's relationship.
Any additional comments?
This is a very enjoyable romance with enough wit and humor to keep you very engaged. The performance (narrator) is perfect as well.

Sweet story but TERRIBLE narration!
Revisado: 02-25-13
What would have made Promises better?
A better narrator. Very honestly, he ruined the entire book for me.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I didn't make it to the end of the book before I lost interest and started a different story.
What didn’t you like about Mark L. Jones’s performance?
No emotion! It sounded like this was the first time he had ever read the book. He was monotone and just terrible.
What character would you cut from Promises?
All charaters were fine - wouldn't cut any.
Any additional comments?
It is too bad that there wasn't a better narrator. A good narrator could have made this simple, sweet story MUCH more enjoyable and worth the money. Save your money and read the book to yourself.

Awesome story and great performance!
Revisado: 02-25-13
If you could sum up The Secret in three words, what would they be?
Romantic, Sassy, Engaging.
What did you like best about this story?
I love a spirited woman and Judith was beautifully developed with a nice blend of compassion, spirit, and humility. I also enjoyed the humor in the story - many times I laughed out loud! I really loved all the charaters - Ian was strong but tender and so respectful.
Have you listened to any of Susan Duerden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I haven't listened to her before but I totally enjoyed listening to her and definately look forward to listening to her again.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Definately made me laugh and when I had to put the book on pause, I couldn't wait until the time I could begin to listen again.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this story - my first Julie Garwood book but won't be my last. She writes a great book. I loved the charaters, the romance was very sweet and perfectly (and respectfully) graphic. The narrator only added to the story making it very enjoyable - I didn't want it to end. I wish the next book was avaliable "Ransom" and read by the same narrator!

Very well written and performed!
Revisado: 02-14-13
Would you consider the audio edition of The Marketplace to be better than the print version?
I have not read the print version but I loved the audio and the readers accent was beautiful!
What did you like best about this story?
The author's descriptions and charater development. I felt like I could "see" everything and her descriptions felt so "real". I dislike predicitable stories and this was far from that!! I really enjoyed that I was often wrong in my assumption of what was going to happen or how a certain charater would react.
What does Elizabeth Jasicki bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The way of the English. She just sounded so proper and demure. Her voice sounded like butter and I really enjoyed it! She did such a fantastic job that I added other books she has narrated to my wish list. Good job Elizabeth!!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Ohhh yeeesss!
Any additional comments?
This book is not for the faint of heart. This is not a "romantic" story in fact it has much more to offer in the ways of spankings, beatings, and slave training than actual sexual encounters or mind blowing orgasims. It is worth the money and was a good listen if you are open minded to this genre. I wish her other books were available and read by Elizabeth Jasicki.

BORING!!
Revisado: 02-14-13
What would have made Beyond Belief better?
Some substance. I appreciated the descriptions of they ways of thinking and ways of doing things in the Scientology world but that's where the interest stopped. Throughout the entire book, Jenna began what sounded like it was going to be a huge story or atrocity of some sort just to fall lag into nothing. "I needed linens and I broke down in tears but then Donna got me some. Things weren't looking good and I didn't know where to go and then so so and showed me." Seriously, I was bored to death and felt like the majority of the book was full of useless and meaningless minute by minute accounts of her entire life.
Would you ever listen to anything by Jenna Miscavige Hill again?
No, most likely not.
What didn’t you like about Sandy Rustin’s performance?
She was so monotone. She had something very borning to perform and her delivery was borning.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Beyond Belief?
The beginning, middle and the end.
