This book did a really good job of teaching men what it actually means to be a man and helping women learn what to look for in a spouse. There are so many books that teach what to do but not how, which can lead to frustration. The author did not try and win women over nor win men over, but instead shared universal principles that will lead you to the logical solution if you allow it!

Although this book shared several Biblical references, it's not religious or leaves you feeling like this is something you can just get from church. As someone who's very non-religious, I really appreciate the authors perspective because it was based on things anyone can relate to and not just religious people or church goers.

The way he included relevant stories and movies that men love, to make specific points, allows you to learn in a way that's more inviting than from a place of condemning you as a man, because you didn't know something. It's a lot of pressure being a man and there are so many things we're supposed to know but don't and often we are not given the grace to not know because of outside expectations....

All in all, I highly recommend this book, especially if you're just starting out, don't have a wife or family yet, and want to do things the right way and be the best you can be, for those you desire to lead!
