im always dumb founded by how absorbed i become in this author's books. this is an outstanding series& the characters are so wonderful. this author is so good at creating relationships we all dream to have. Its both wonderful and gut wrenching to read, as i can't imagine ever having anyone care for me the way all these characters care for eachother. I mean who wouldn't want a man that purred like a cat. Sounds heavenly

Danika Dark is brilliant at writing the men every woman wants (even with some of the over bearing traits). However my favorite thing about her writing is the off humor... such as the funny situation that leaves one brother thinking his younger brother may be into beastility... which obviously wasn't true. But it was her flawless writing that made such a gross subject turn into a hysterical & sweet moment between the main characters.
This book did start out a little slowly with the story setup & sadness... & i almost gave up. Ive never been happier that i didn't. As usual, Nicole Poole is outstanding at narrating. I am VERY excited to read about the other characters & their stories in future books.

love how this author is so skilled at making her readers care for characters... right out the gate. i did Gerry irratated at Ravens freak out at the end and skipped past it. i'll listen to it another time. for now, I'm team Christian. The narrator is fabulous

Nicole Poole the narrator is hands down one of the best in the business. She brings each character to life in a way not many could.
The author is outstanding at making the reader care about the characters and tells an awesome story. She makes her readers wait and wait and then delivers more than one can handle imagining..
so much so that it stays with you.
I just wish there was a Christian for every woman that wanted one.

this was my first bad experience with Patricia Briggs and with Holter Graham. Dead Heat was just too slow moving, I found myself increasing the speed of the narrator because it just moved slow. Based on my past experience with both author and narrator, I'm certain this was just a one time bad read for me... I've already started the next novel in this series and it's going good. For some reason, Dead Heat seemed to spend too much time in deep, slow dialogue... not enough on entertaining the reader.

I know. That isn't the reaction one should have when reading or listening to a Jane Yellowrock novel but it was that good. Best one yet. Faith Hunter should be proud of this. She wrapped everything up and started something new. One hell of a great story!!!!!!!

I was hesitant to read a novel about Amber, as she was never my favorite character in Sam's stories (plus I'm really wanting to read more about Sam). That said, I was pleasantly surprised & very impressed by this novel. The relationship between Irix and Amber was written perfectly... i foundf myself constantly rooting for them and luckily there isn't so much angst that it's frustrating. it's just perfect. thanks Debra for writing another amazing novel

I started off reading Mercy Thompson and now I'm loving Ana Cornick. I love the world created in this series. I can relate to Ana even though we come from total different worlds. The narrator is fabulous too

JennyLawson is like a stand up comedian that has too much anexiety to get on stage... her show is instead stuck in the pages of this book... along with a $25 dollar bill.
I totally relate to her and am so greatful for this book... she's like my twin brother from another mother, except we're not men so we can't be brothers... and if she's from another mother,it makes us being twins impossible.
But putting that aside, the statement still holds true for me.
I'd never felt so unashamed and accepting of my own mental illness as i did after reading Furiously Happy. And part of the awesomeness of the audio book is the fact that the author does the narrating... makes it so accessible.
