Historia
The Metro books have put Dmitry Glukhovsky in the vanguard of Russian speculative fiction alongside the creator of Night Watch, Sergei Lukyanenko. A year after the events of Metro 2033, the last few survivors of the apocalypse, surrounded by mutants and monsters, face a terrifying new danger as they hang on for survival in the tunnels of the Moscow Metro. Featuring blistering action, vivid and tough characters, claustrophobic tension and dark satire, the Metro books have become bestsellers across Europe.

Not as good as 2033, ending kind of disappointing. Still Glukhovsky, so would recommend.

Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

Boomercon propaganda film
Revisado: 07-15-20
This almost feels like the sort of in-universe propaganda film that the Starship Troopers movie was. Lots of ye olde American patriotism, but that doesn't mean it wasn't extremely well-written. Very emotional at the end, almost sappy. If you liked Red Dawn, you'll love this.

In this new and revised edition of Oswald Spengler's classic Man and Technics, Spengler makes a number of predictions that today, more than 80 years after the book was first published, have turned out to be remarkably accurate.

Let the man talk
Revisado: 07-04-20
Great little book, a lot of interesting ideas that need further development. Only problem is that about 20% is the intro, which is superfluous. Let the work stand on its own feet!
