Historia
In This Is Me, Chrissy Metz shares her story with a raw honesty that will leave listeners both surprised but also inspired. Infused with the same authenticity she brings to her starring role, Chrissy's This Is Me is so much more than your standard Hollywood memoir or collection of personal essays. She embraces the spirit of Shonda Rhimes' Year of Yes and shares how she has applied the lessons she learned from both setbacks and successes. A born entertainer, Chrissy finds light in even her darkest moments and leaves the listener feeling they are spending time with a friend who gets it.

Incredible story of overcoming life’s hardships
Revisado: 11-17-23
Chrissy Metz offers such an open account of her life’s journey and honest reflection of the hurts she endured thus far.
Her journey of childhood is surprising given how upbeat and positive she is in all of her interviews and this weekend when I met her at the Global Exchange conference in Orlando.
So many people will be able to relate with their struggles. For instance, I didn’t know any other teenager in the world volunteering went to church alone. For me, it was home and allowed me to imagine the person I wanted to become and the family I wanted to have.
What really touches me is her candid approach to her lifelong struggle with weight of which I completely relate as if we are twins. I also often say, “I wish I could be as fat as I was in high school.” How was a size 12 considered fat anyhow? Ugh!
The chapter titles are very creative, the story is well structured, and Chrissy’s delivery on audible is as if you are sitting in the car with your best friend. She tells a well-woven story with emotion and humor and enough vocal inflection to keep you interested. I couldn’t wait to get back to hear the next “page.”
Another medium that Chrissy surprises us with another fabulous talent. You are so extremely gifted, Chrissy! Can’t wait to see what is next for you and for your next book,
Thank you for sharing your life with us with such open honesty. You make it so easy to love you and cheer you on! In turn, we feel your love and cheers for us!
Congratulations on each and everyone of your achievements!

Cindy Dawn

If you are a business owner or an employee of any industry, this book is a must read if you want to learn how to pivot and thrive during uncertain interruptions. Additionally, this book will teach you what to do to prepare for unexpected change.
The author provides many detailed examples of how the strongest industry leaders survived in the midst of economic downturn, world-wide pandemics, industry booms and busts. The journeys and lessons of these giants give the blueprint to how to prepare, adjust, change, and thrive. Each is unique and each path was different, and the book is well written and organized it’s easy to analyze commonalities if your business practices and needs and how to improve them.
Furthermore, in addition to the extensive research, the author successfully cross compares the past with the present to lead readers to take action to prepare for change and how to do so successfully.
This book is an excellent and enjoyable read with fascinating stories of various businesses. I recommend it to every employer, employee, business owner, association and board member.
Don’t give up because this book brings hope, practical, logical, and profitable insight for wherever you are in your profession.
