I have dyslexia and the metallic layered voice of new character is unintelligible. it's always hard to understand but when the deeper version is dominate I can't understand it at all.

The story is pretty good till the end when the Protagonist equips the plus 20 plot armor and all the humans stop thinking, snapped me right out. Narration is great.

Entertaining listen but The MC is a Gary Stu

Too much of a Mary Sue

I know almost all the MC,s of these type of books are Mary/Gary Stus but this is ridic Op. The MC is also mentally stunted so all the opness is just a freak nature of birth rather than cunning manipulation of systems that most other books do to make you think they earned it a little. At times it is entertaining and Author is a big part of what makes this book listenable. Any Mature themes are overstated.

"Lite and hoppy" is the description of a good beer

I love fantasy as much as anyone but the Author trying to describe a good beer as lite and hoppy was just so unrealistic it took me right out of the book. otherwise 5/5

I was kinnda meh on this book from the description but the book is really good. I can only assume the description is misleading due to spoiler reasons so I won't ruin it either but its a monster lit rpg. This book contains some lewd and tabboo subject mater but it doesn't go to much into detail.

Falls far short of its predecessor.

Struggled to finish this book. Its roles are filled with less memorable characters and a muddled plot line. Lacking the magic of the new the first one this book leaves you not wanting more. Narrator is pretty good but can be a little monotone which combined with the storyline make paying attention a stuggle at times.

love Nicholas Guy Smith but story fell short.

The story is a nice bit of short fluff with very little development over the last book and that by it self is fine for a shorter story. Whats not fine is the jacked up price for thats not worth the credit or retail price. This book is priced the same as a full book and the third installment is even more. maybe ill pick up the third if it goes on sale but im done with this series for now.

a great intro but a tad short.
