I'm glad there was enough content in this book. the sound booth theater team did a great job. I do hope for more development for the colony as a whole, interactions with other races, maybe some side plot line surrounding the queen ant and the priest. they were so integral in the first few books.

if you are hesitating on whether to spend your credit on this book, my advice is to get it.
the plot is good with good character and world building.
the book will feel like alot has happened but it feels like there is so much more to tell. The narrator did a splendid job as well to bring all the different characters to live. one of the better ones I've heard.
in short, this book feels like a 14hr prolouge to a long and great story. and after listening to it, it left me wanting more.

The story is worth a listen and the narrator did a fantastic job to convey tabitha's feelings. I couldn't stop listening. it's sad that we have to wait a very long time to read/listen book 2.
i was hesitant at first but I'm glad I used my credit on this audio book.

excitement begins around 1/3 into book.

starts slow and dumps you a lot of information at the beginning. lots of world and character building. The story really starts after 1/3 into the book as per the synopsis described it. There are lot more plot than the synopsis suggest. Good book.
