neat story, too much repitition

The author uses way too many of the same lines and it makes the listening experience monotonous and a bit cringy, there is also an overabundance of repetitions in terms of system articles also, otherwise it is a neat and unique book set once you tune out the reader trying and failing to needlessly pack a powder keg of suspense into every single word.

can not stay awake to enjoy the story.

I listen to a noise maker to sleep, and audible to relax this book works 200x better than the noise maker. I can not seem to listen for more than 10 minutes before falling asleep with this book, even when I am actively busy during the day I start falling asleep so despite multiple attempts to listen I have no idea about the story. This is a great, soothing form of background noise though.

This series is awesome, it is unique and fun but this book was extremely rushed and had too much story cramped into too little explanation to feel satisfying. This would have been much more enjoyable split into two books and given more detail, it feels super choppy and leaves way too much unsaid to be a truly satisfying book.

Good book, the narration voices are inconsistent and a tad confusing. The ending is original and inventive but I would have preferred a more classic ending after the great storyline. The viewpoint and storyline are something that stands out even to someone who has read so much that I had to learn to read sideways and upside down by holding the books at odd angles to save my wrists from the strain of keeping the book in it's proper place. 😂 Audible is a great thing for avid readers but this book is a real gem.

Patricia Briggs is an amazing author and the mercy novels are spectacular. Having read and owning physical copies of almost every book from this author it makes me wanna cry that half the voices in this novel sound like a 5 year old faking an accent from an old dracula movie.

most information given in this book is incorrect after talking with Farmers that been in the industry for years. this book was seem to be written by somebody who did not do any research on the subject.
